History[]
This location's roots go back to 1982, when it first opened as a Showbiz Pizza Place. Like most SPPs, this location had the all-too-familiar "Rock-A-Fire Explosion" shows and stage.
In 1990, as part of the nationwide "Concept Unification" process (which was set in motion to convert all Showbiz restaurants in America to Chuck E. Cheese's restaurants), the Amherst Showbiz Pizza was shut down and was shortly reopened as a Chuck E. Cheese's.
In 1997, they gained a Playground from a closed down McDonald's.
In 2001, Munch Jr., Pizzacam, Building, and Moon were removed.
In 2017, the location gained Play Pass cards.
