Go Ape is a family fun center located in the Lake Kingdom mall in Lake City, Florida. The fun center opened in 2005 in a former Jeepers! fun center.
History
The fun center originally opened in 1997 as a Jeepers! fun center, in 2002 the owner of the Lake Kingdom Jeepers! decided to just quit and closed the fun center down. Everything in the fun center stood vacant until 2005 when a new owner bought the vacant fun center and reopened it as "Go Ape". All of the old Jeepers! decor and rides was still in the fun center until 2015, but the arcade games were replaced and the name of the rides were changed as well. In 2015 Go Ape moved to bigger location across from JCPenney, next to Brothers.
